I thought that earning my Master’s in Environmental Sustainability would fill a void of meaning in my life. But while I was studying the complex and terrifying ecological challenges facing our planet, I was quietly struggling in ways I didn’t know how to explain. Physically, I felt like I was trying everything and nothing was helping. Doctor visits, naturopaths, endless testing & protocols weren’t touching what I was actually experiencing. Emotionally, I was exhausted, depressed, and increasingly disconnected from my body and the people around me. I began to fear there was something deeply wrong with me. The weight of my inner unwellness and the environmental crisis felt equally impossible—
But I was determined to find a way to address both at the root.
I explored many healing pathways and modalities along the way, including plant medicine, but it was deepening my spiritual connection that truly changed things for me. I found solace in the trees that I couldn't find in other people. Through spending time on the land, I realized I was connected to something greater than myself, and I came to understand that the opposite of depression wasn’t happiness, it was connection.
Discovering shamanic practices and perspectives felt like I was learning — or perhaps remembering — the language of my soul. A way of experiencing nature not as something separate, but as a Being we are in relationship with. And I realized that the guidance, comfort, and healing I was searching for was already available through this relationship.
As I deepened into an interactive, reciprocal relationship with nature I discovered the place inside of me that is rooted, connected, and whole:
My Inner Earth.
My work prioritizes connection and relationship with the earth as part of who we are as humans.
Through my healing journey working in alternative and holistic modalities, I discovered that the environmental crisis is actually a mirror for our own internal suffering.
And that the root of this suffering — and thus the ecological crisis — is disconnection: from ourselves, the Earth, and our spiritual nature.
The work of Inner Earth orients you to your inherent interconnectedness through working with the elements, cycles, and your internal rhythms in relationship to these larger cycles.
To create a holistic, earth-based approach to my client’s healing and spiritual expansion, I completed trainings in:
My intention for our work together is to connect you with your Inner Earth.
The place inside you that feels rooted, connected, and whole – to help you experience ease of access to your own inner knowing, find stability and rootedness through connection to the Earth and her cycles, and cultivate a greater capacity to move through life’s challenges with openness, groundedness, and curiosity.
My work is rooted in holding your process as sacred, trusting in your inherent belonging and connection, and approaching your journey with compassion and a deep sense of trust in exactly how your journey unfolds for you.
Together we call forward your own inner healer and your unique connection to the Earth to guide you into the inherent wisdom of your own body-mind-spirit.
We begin with an assessment of where you’re at now and your greatest intentions for your spiritual expansion and healing journey.
We identify where imbalances may be present, and which earth-based practices can best support your path forward with co-created, personalized pathways to help you cultivate your own rhythm in harmony with the Earth and your true nature.
